Receptionists

Receptionist Supervisor Moe & Raquel

Raquel started at Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital in 2001. She first began in Pet Keeper and worked up to become a veterinary technician. She now also works as the receptionist supervisor because of her natural leadership abilities and excellent attention to customer care. Raquel is currently attending El Camino College studying to become a radiology technician. She has one dog, Moe, and four cats, Cali, Bella, Magesty and Angus. She is a huge L.A. Angels fan and enjoys playing softball in her free time.

Dolores & Cooper

Dolores started as a Pet Keeper at Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital in 2004 and worked her way to becoming a receptionist because of her special caring way with both pets and clients. Dolores was married to the love of her life, Melvin, in 2006 and then left Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital for a few years from 2006 to 2009 so she could stay home with her baby girl, Elainah. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, cooking and travelling. Dolores and her family recently adopted an adorable Shih Tzu puppy named Cooper.

Erika has been a receptionist with Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital since 2011. She is a Southern California native and attended Cal State Dominguez Hills University obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in Computer Information Systems. She has two dogs (Oliver and Duke) and a twin sister. In her spare time she enjoys movies and playing on her ipad and iphone.

 

 

 

 

Shannon has been a receptionist with Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital since 2011. She is a South Bay local growing up in Redondo Beach, CA. Shannon has two dogs (Ariel and Drama) and 2 cats (Jade and Precious). She is a MMA (mixed martial arts) sports fan, and enjoys taking road trips on the weekends with her husband.

Kayla has been a receptionist with Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital since 2012, but originally began as a volunteer intern while working on pre-veterinary studies. She is a Torrance local and attended UC Irvine majoring in Physics. Kayla will be attending veterinary school at UC Davis in the fall of 2012. She has 1 dog (Max) and 1 cat (Whiskers) and enjoys baking and playing with her little cousins.
